The Basics: Broadband

You mentioned this product is broadband-enabled. What does that mean?

If you have an existing broadband connection in your home, you can plug an Ethernet cable into the MSN TV 2 Internet & Media Player and access MSN TV service and the Internet using your high-speed connection. This means you can connect direct, without a PC, or you can utilize an existing home network via Ethernet.

Note that the MSN TV 2 Internet & Media Player will support any broadband connection in the home, provided that the broadband provider:

  1. Does not require a subscriber to load client software
  2. Supports DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
